I’m a little confused by Barnsley’s tactics.

Like us, they have a very good central striker.

But they seem to give him the ball in dangerous positions, rather than simply passing it over and over again behind him so he can’t get involved.

Bizarre.

Lots of bad performances today, but even Abdulai tried to get stuck in when he came on.

Junior touched the ball 11 times excl. set pieces (I counted), looked completely lost, and never seemed to have a position.

He wouldn’t get even into Hornchurch’s side.

The fact that he thought this non-league chancer was good enough to build on last year shows just how much arrogance Richie brought into this season.
